What the hell is a Halcyon? Halcyon is that feeling you get when you experience a memory that brings joy to your life. That is our goal with every performance: to make it so that when you leave and remember what you just experienced, all you can picture is the feeling of joy. We claim the genre of Indie Rock. Our influences span quite a plethora of bands but really hone in on sounds like The Backseat Lovers, Peach Pit, and Paramore.

We started primarily as a cover band. Playing benefit shows for the community and making an appearance at a bar every now and again. We always played around with the idea of writing our own music and making a name for ourselves but with school, and our day jobs, the dream never quite made it to the reality stage. That was until we were asked to play for a battle of the bands through Club 110 in Belleville, IL.

That gig kickstarted our band. We were forced to debut original work to qualify for the battle and it was really the first time anyone had heard our sound. The overwhelmingly positive response was all we needed. We decided then and there that this was now the reality stage. 

Over the past year, we have been tearing up the St. Louis and metro east music scene. Playing at respected venues such as The Hi-Hat and Pop's as well as local venues such as Club 110. Every show allowing us to continuously grow our following and fan base. Which ultimately led to us opening up Pointfest in 2025!

We released our debut album 'Stuck on the Daze' in May of 2025 and are already hard at work writing our next project! With all this being said we are only just getting started. We have so many big plans for this band that we are constantly working on and venues that we want to eventually play.
